Jack was lucky to have a good education. She completed her high school at Evanston Township High School in 1987. Then, she joined Arizona State University in 1993 and graduated with a General Business degree two years later in 1995. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Organizational Management at the University of Phoenix and graduated in 2003.
Her thirst for learning was still not quenched, though. In 2018, Sonjia enrolled at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business where she studied Executive Leadership Development program for two years.
Professional Life – Currently Works at Cox Communications Solutions
Sonjia began her professional career in 1997 working as a National Distribution Director at AT&T (formerly Cingular Wireless). She worked there for 11 years. She also served as a Channel Manager from 2001-2004 and as a Channel Development Manager from 2004- 2005 during her time at AT&T.
Fisher then worked at T-Mobile USA as Director Of Business of Sales Operations from 2009 to 2011. Later, she was promoted to Regional Director there. After that, she worked at Microsoft in Seattle, Washington. She started there as Sr. Director of Retail Stores (2011-13) and was later promoted to Sr. Director of Business Programs (2013–2015).
Currently, she works as AVP of Retail Operations/Quality Assurance for Cox Communications Solutions. She joined the company in February 2015. Fisher has been listed by the Atlanta Business Journal as one of the Most Powerful Women In Business.
Besides, she is involved in charity work as well; runs a non-profit organization named The LJ Way Foundation. It provides help and guidance to families that deal with complexities while nurturing young athletes.

Married Life, Husband And Children
La Sonjia was married to the father of her two sons, H. David Jack. Their union gave birth to two sons Myles and Jahlen.
Sonjia’s older son Myles (b. September 3, 1995) is a former NFL linebacker. He played for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2016 to 2021, the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2022, and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.
During his seven seasons in the NFL, he was named an All-Pac-12 linebacker two times. He announced his retirement from professional football on August 20, 2023.
Jahlen, Fisher’s younger son, was born on March 6, 2000. Just like his elder brother, he is also interested in sports. Jahlen was a basketball player at college who played for Tarleton State University of Stephenville.
Her Divorce And Relationships Afterward
La Sonjia and H. David separated shortly after their son Myles started high school. They are not known to be in touch following their divorce and are pretty much happy with their respective lives. Nonetheless, Sonjia still uses the name Jack even after their divorce.
Sonjia’s relationship after the divorce is out of the media reach. Meanwhile, USA Today reported that Sonjia previously dated the father of her son Myles’ friend Budda Baker for nearly three years. However, Sonjia has not commented on her current relationship status.
