Melani Lowman-Walton is the wife of S. Robson Walton, the principal owner of the Denver Broncos of the NFL. After two failed marriages, Robson found his forever in Melani. They have been married since the mid-2000s.

Melani was born in Sidney, Montana, on July 24, 1974, to her parents, Charles and Marleen Lowman. Her father and mother both were teachers. She also has a sibling named Channon.

Similarly, her family, starting from her maternal grandparents, Orris M. Bang and Alice Knutson, were graduates of Dickinson State University in 1939 and 1943, respectively. Interestingly, all of their children attended the same university.

Melani’s parents graduated from Dickinson, where they first met, along with her and her sister, Channon. In total, 30 members of her extended family have gone there.

As stated above, Melani went to Dickinson. She earned her Bachelor of Science with a major in Elementary Education and K-12 Art Education, alongside a K-12 minor in Physical Education there. Apart from her excellence in academics, she had equally great athletic stats.

Playing basketball and track in college, she is considered one of the best female athletes to graduate from Dickinson. During her collegiate career, she was a four-time All-American in both sports and was named to the All-Conference team in basketball.

Similarly, Melani holds the record for most points, 38, in Dickinson with Carey Waldal and Courtney Olson. She was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for her contributions to the college’s athletics in 2007.

Rob’s first marriage was with Patricia Rawlings Walton. Things ended between them in the late 1970s as Rob had fallen in love with his secretary, Carolyn Funk Walton, with whom he divorced in 2000, ultimately exchanging vows with Melani five years later.

While Melani and Rob have not welcomed any children during their union of almost two decades, the businessman has three children, Sam WaltonCarrie Walton Penner, and Ben Walton, from his marriage with Patricia.
