Even after 29 years of togetherness, the couple still has the same love for each other. The romance between the pair is still not dead, considering how Flint adores his partner. Back in 2016, he wished his wife a happy birthday with the sweetest caption, “Happy birthday to this sweet wife, momma, friend & teacher. Obviously patient b/c we’re going on 22 yrs of marriage.”

Kim Had A Heart To Heart Talk With Her Son When He Was Seven
Gardner learned a life lesson on a car ride home from his mom. The seven-year-old was heartbroken when he didn’t make it to the baseball all-star team. She explained,
This is what I think. I think that All-Stars don’t just practice at practice. All-Stars work extra and so every time your dad says ‘hey do you want to go throw’ and you say ‘well I’m going to go play with my Legos or I want to go outside and play with my trucks,’ that’s not gonna make you an All-Star in baseball. But extra work, working outside of practice, that’s what’ll make you better, what’ll make you different.
Kim taught her right-handed son to practice shooting left-handed layups. When he figured out the mechanics of this technique, her car lesson made sense to him. Both of them still remember this incident even after all these years. She has never backed out from going miles to support her baby at his games.
It Was A Surreal Moment For Kim To Watch Her Son Play In The League
Minshew couldn’t believe it when her son Gardner was drafted into the league in 2019. When the Jacksonville Jaguars selected him, she thought it was a little surreal.
She further added, “I was sitting there watching Jared Goff and Pat Mahomes and thinking, just a few years ago they were kind of where he is. And I think, they’re not that much older than him. So it’s just, sometimes I should take a deep breath because it is surreal.”
Kim has seen her baby work hard since he was eight. Like every mother, she was beside him at every step of his life to cheer him on whenever he was down. She is loving watching him live his dreams.
