As stated earlier, Michelle is married to Patrick Surtain Sr. They met in New Orleans while attending different high schools. But it was not until May 25, 2002, that the pair decided to tie the knot and take their relationship to the next step.

Talking about Michelle’s significant other, he was an American football cornerback for 11 seasons in the NFL. Drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 1998, his career ended with the Kansas City Chiefs. The three times Pro Bowl and his wife started their family in Plantation, Florida.
At present, Michelle’s hubby is the defensive backs coach at Florida State University. He was also the defensive assistant for the Dolphins. Mr. Surtain was also the head coach at American Heritage High School for nine seasons.

The lovebirds bought a home in Plantation for $2.25 million in 2015. The house is located on a 46,502-square-foot lot and has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. They bought it after selling their 11,975-square-foot home for $4.15 million.
Furthermore, they bought another residence in Southwest Ranches in 2010 for $4.15 million. There were some legal troubles, and they sued the builder, Landmark Custom Ranches.

Michelle formerly applied for the federal trademark registration for her boy’s name “PATRICK SURTAIN II,” to “conduct youth football programs and camps, services related to youth programs and camps, as well as for merchandise that includes clothing items, athletic apparel, and football uniforms.”
