Felix Anudike-Uzomah’s Parents Are Of Nigerian Descent

Felix Uzomah and Cynthia Uzomah are the parents of the Chiefs’ defensive end, Felix. They are of Nigerian descent. Before starting her own firm, the defensive end’s mom worked at Developmental Services of Nebraska as a nurse consultant community RN; level 1 medication instructor for six years.

The Uzomah Couple Has Four Kids

Apart from the athlete, Cynthia gave birth to one more son and two daughters. The pair’s children, Felix, Celestine, Destiny, and Vanessa Anudike-Uzomah, grew up together in Kansas City, Missouri.

Their eldest son, Celestine, is a specialty pharmacist at Optum Infusion Services. After graduating with a degree in pharmacy from the University of Missouri, he started working as a pharmacist at Walgreens, where he was an intern for four years.

Their youngest son, Felix, played college football at Kansas State University. He was drafted in the league by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2023 NFL Draft.

As for their daughters, Destiny is a registered staff nurse at Memorial Hermann according to her Facebook bio. She moved to Houston, Texas, for her job at Texas Orthopedic Hospital.

Talking about Vanessa, she is a performance solutions engineer at Yellow. She has also worked as a supply chain leader at PepsiCo, where she also did her internship. Felix’s sister was the front desk staff for the Kansas State University while studying there.

When Felix heard the news about his draft, his parents were right beside him, cheering him on. The whole family celebrated the news and even shed a few happy tears. A few days later, they all visited the Chiefs training center for further process.

The whole thing was documented where they were seen appreciating the facilities, and as per the video, his brother, Celestine, expressed how it was a dream come true. Besides, his sisters also shared some loving comments for him.

Felix appreciates his brood for not being strict with him throughout his football days. They knew he had a goal to be one of the greats and gave him the freedom to do whatever he loved, for which he is thankful.

Uzomah and his mom, Cynthia Uzomah, manifested the dream of the NFL together. When he shared his goal of playing in the league, she told him to work harder to make it happen.

He shared that back in 2011 when his mom missed his Little League game, she posted a message saying how she wished she had been there. She further added that he shouldn’t have the mindset of a procrastinator.

When Felix was in a dilemma to play in the league or continue college, he talked with his family and made the right decision. Now that he is living his dream, his life has come full circle, for which he is thankful to his parents, and they are proud of his achievements.

Are They Related To The NFL Player, CJ Uzomah?

There is no connection between Felix and CJ except for their surnames. Due to the same last name, many have assumed that they are brothers. Nonetheless, Felix hasn’t got a brother playing professional football.
