Alex’s Parents Are His Greatest Supporters
Both Alfred and his wife Eva are Alex’s greatest supporters. The husband and wife constantly go to their son’s game and support him and the Cleveland Browns.
Back in July 2020, Alfred stated that he thinks his son would play in the spring season during an interview with 247Sports’ national writer Chris Hummer. At the time, Alfred said, he wouldn’t be worried about injuries but he would be worried about Alex waiting out that year. His exact words were,
He could’ve gone this past year in the draft and he didn’t. It wouldn’t be that different in my mind. I wouldn’t be worried about (injury) in the spring, no more than I am worried about him waiting out this year.
If you think Mr. Alfred is Alex’s greatest supporter alone wait until you hear what his mom did when he got selected in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Alex’s mother, Eva was at the top of the world when she heard her son was selected by the Raiders in the first round.
She couldn’t hold her excitement and showed off her best dance moves during the celebration. Seeing his mom break the dance floor, Alex was pretty embarrassed and said, “MOM! STOP IT! STOP IT, MOM! YOU’RE EMBARRASSING ME! I NEED TO GET MY GROOVE ON.” Have a look yourself.
