She was born Antonique Larry, on October 13, 1989, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Jeanell Larry. Her mother is a 63-year-old lady who works as a realtor. While information about her father is unavailable, her stepfather is named Bryan Thomas.
Antonique completed high school at Edna Karr High School in New Orleans and later pursued a major in microbiology at Louisiana State University. She got her diploma in microbiology in the spring of 2012.
Following her undergraduate studies, Antonique joined Midwestern University, where she got her master’s degree in biomedical science. Later, she continued her academic journey at Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Finally, she completed her academic journey there got her medical degree in July 2021, and became a physician.
Antonique Met Her Husband Patrick Peterson At Louisiana State University
Antonique and Patrick met at the Louisiana State University. According to Patrick, she caught his eye at a bar during their University days, sometime around 2009. As it turns out, Larry wasn’t much of a fan of football but she attended home games and was familiar with Peterson. In the meantime, the cornerback found it difficult to lay his eye off her.
Peterson once said in an interview that meeting Antonique was the best time of his life. Patrick made the first move since he had a crush on Antonique.
The Lovebirds Got Married In 2012
As we discussed before, Antonique and Patrick’s love story began in college, where luck brought them together. The now husband and wife understood soon that they were the ones for each other. After a couple of years of dating, the Steelers star proposed to Antonique on January 11, 2012. With excitement in the air, they wasted no time and exchanged vows on June 16, 2012, marking the start of their lifelong journey.
The lovebirds organized their wedding at the Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel where they were joined by their close friends and family members. From the fancy invitations to the cozy Sunday brunch, every part was filled with joy and shared promises. It was a perfect day just like their journey.
Antonique And Patrick Are The Parents Of Two
Their beautiful wedding marked the beginning of a strong bond, and in the journey that followed, the cornerback and his physician wife became proud parents to two daughters.
The footballer announced he and his wife were expecting their first child through an Instagram post in mid-July 2015 where he posted a picture with Antonique holding her baby bump. Later on November 26, 2015, Mr. and Mrs Peterson were blessed with a baby girl, Paityn Antonique Peterson.
More than four years after the birth of their first child, the Petersons welcomed another daughter, Parker on December 6, 2019. The father of two daughters was overwhelmed by the arrival of their second child. Nearly two months after the birth of their second daughter, Peterson announced her birthday on his Instagram sharing a picture of him holding two girls in two arms.
As of 2024, his first daughter Paityn is 8 years old, and his younger daughter, Parker is 4 years old.
Antonique Is Patrick’s Biggest Supporter And Critique

Peterson knows that whenever he goes home after a little disappointing match, Antonique is always there waiting to give him some detailed explanation for his poor display of performance.

She sends me speeches before every game, and afterwards, she gives me a grade.
He added,
If she’s at the game, she’ll even take notes. Then, on my way home, she’ll say, ‘What happened on this play?’ and we’ll go over everything. She gets pretty down and dirty, but I love it. She’s my eye in the sky. And I figure that if I let her down, I’m probably going to let my teammates down, too.
Meanwhile, she is his biggest supporter as well. Despite being busy with several duties to fulfill, she somehow finds a way to attend Patrick’s games. She is the one who has been providing the cornerback with essential strength and support.
