Megan was born in 1989 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Terry J Kreifels and Barbara L Kreifels. Her mother is a housewife, while her dad is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University and is the president of Action Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Inc.
Furthermore, the NFL WAG has a sister named Amanda and a brother named Justin. The three siblings grew up in Lincoln and are pretty close to one another. Megan constantly shares photos of her family members on her socials.
Her brother also works at their dad’s company and has been its President since December 2022.

Megan used to work as a registered nurse after graduating with a nursing degree from Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska. She has worked as an orthopedic nurse at St. Antony’s Medical Center. Similarly, the 35-year-old also worked as a nurse at Gateway Endoscopy Center.
She was A Star Athlete
She is a former star athlete, just like her hubby. Kreifels used to play as a soccer goalie during her time at high school and Hastings College. What’s more, according to the Journal Star, the NFL wifey was honored with the Lincoln Journal Star State College Female Athlete of the Year in 2011.
Similarly, during that season, she managed to stop 63 of 76 shots and posted a 15-2-1 record in goal and twelve shutdowns that began with 1-4-1. Likewise, when Megan was asked how her team reached the championship game; she pointed out that they came through because of their effort and chemistry.
Megan And Greg Zuerlein Have Been Married For More Than 10 years
The long-time lovers got hitched on April 27, 2013. They had a fabulous wedding surrounded by their closest friends and family members. The bride wore a beautiful white gown while her hubby looked dashing in a black suit.
They have been married for over 10 years now and from the looks of it, their relationship seems to get only stronger with each passing time.
They Met At High School And Have Been Together Ever Since
Megan and the footballer as we said earlier crossed paths for the first time in high school. Both of them have been together ever since they started dating back in Pius X High School. Their similar interest as an athlete must have been the driving force that brought them closer to each other.
However, after high school the two lovebirds went to different colleges, Greg joined the University of Nebraska while his then-girlfriend decided to join Hastings. Despite all of this, the two kept on dating and Megan even went to several of Zuerlein’s games to show support for her soon-to-be husband.
They eventually got engaged and got married a couple of years later in April 2013.
Megan Kreifels Is A Mother Of Five And Is Living In Thousand Oaks California
Megan and Greg are parents to five kids two daughters and three sons. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Emma Zuerlein born in 2014. Similarly, their second daughter Morgan Zuerlein was born a year later in 2015.
They welcomed their third child and first son Greg Zuerlein Jr. in August of 2016. According to reports, he was born while the Jets star was preparing for the football season. Megan even took to Twitter to share a now-deleted post where fans could see that she was enjoying a pre-game season from the comfort of the hospital bed with her newborn sleeping beside her.
Similarly, the Zuerlein household welcomed a fourth member into their family on November 18, 2018. The couple named their second son Samuel Gene Zuerlein.
The former soccer player even took to Twitter to share his arrival where she mentioned, “Last night our family grew by 6lbs, 3oz, 10 little fingers, and 10 little toes. Welcome to the world, Samuel Gene Zuerlein. Thank you for being the greatest distraction we could’ve prayed for during this tragic time in our community. You are so incredibly loved.”
Last but not least, the couple became parents for the fifth time to a son. However, the details regarding his name and date of birth remain undisclosed.
The high school sweethearts and their five kids are enjoying a blissful life living in their beautiful house in Thousand Oaks, California.
