Brandon Graham, born Brandon Lee  Graham, is a defensive end (DE) for the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles selected him in the 2010 NFL draft and he has been playing for the team ever since. Graham was the highly-rated linebacker in high school.

He was born to Derrick Walton and Tasha Graham in Detroit, Michigan. He started playing football in his early youth days. In fact, he started participating in the Michigan High School Athletic Association football competition in 1996, when he was just eight.

Brandon married Carlyne Graham on May 24, 2014. The husband and wife dated for over a decade before they finally tied the knot. They met at Crockett High School back in 2002 and started dating shortly after.

Brandon and Carlyne were separated for some time during their college years. They rekindled their romance during Graham’s senior year and have been inseparable ever since.

The Grahams have two children together. They welcomed their first daughter, Emerson Abigail Graham on February 4, 2016. Carlyne gave birth to their second child, a son, Bryson on March 5, 2019.

Regarding his wife, Carlyne is a licensed psychotherapist at The Postpartum Stress Center.

Career Highlights

  • Graham played as a linebacker until high school and he was listed for the same position at Michigan as well. However, he switched the position to defensive end before the 2006 NCCA Division I FBS season.
  • The Philadelphia Eagles picked Graham in the first round, 13th overall pick, of the 2010 NFL Draft. He then became the first defensive player selected in the draft.
  • He signed a five-year contract with the Eagles on July 29, 2010, for $16.90 million with $12.67 million guaranteed.
  • Brandon moved from defensive end to linebacker in the 2013 season. In his first season as a linebacker, he completed three sacks, 20 tackles, and one forced fumble.
  • He extended his stay in Philadelphia by signing a 4-year contract for $26 million in 2015.
  • Brandon recorded four tackles in his 2017 debut match against Washington. He finished that season with 9.5 sacks and 47 tackles which earned him multiple performance bonuses.
  • Graham again signed a $40 million contract extension valid from 2019 through the 2021 season.
  • He recorded 46 total tackles and eight sacks in the 2020 season due to which he was named to the Pro Bowl 2020 season. It was his first career Pro Bowl nod.
  • He registered his first double-digit career sacks, 11, in the 2022 season. The Eagles advanced to the Super Bowl LVII in that season which they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs by 38-35.
  • On March 10, 2023, Brandon signed a one-year contract with the Eagles with which he tied with Chuck Bednarik for the most season, 14, by an Eagle.
