Edwards proposed to his girlfriend, JoJo in June 2023 after dating for a couple of years. The adorable couple got engaged a few months after they bought a new house. Clyde got on his knees at their housewarming party and asked her to marry him in front of all the guests. Of course, JoJo said yes immediately.
Initially, Clyde had planned to propose in front of a romantic backdrop but ended up spontaneously giving her a ring inside their house. The newly engaged couple later recreated the moment again in front of the background.
O’Conner took to her Instagram to share the big news with a caption, “Started off celebrating our new home. Ended a fiancé. My love, forever & ever. We utilized the backup option after.”

Edwards and JoJo Made It Official in 2022
The beautiful lovebirds made their relationship public in 2022 when JoJo posted pictures with her partner from their romantic evening date on the beach. Ever since then, O’Conner has shared glimpses of their love life on her Instagram, flaunting their deep love for each other.
However, her partner, Clyde, seemed a bit late to announce his girlfriend on Instagram. He only posted their first picture together in May 2023.
Over this period, the duo has already gone on several trips together, celebrating holidays and other special occasions. They went to the Turks and Caicos Islands back when they first started dating. O’Conner documented her trip and even had a separate highlight on her Instagram for her boyfriend. Besides going on vacations, these two have celebrated Christmas together.

Born in December 1998, O’Conner has been working part-time as student staff at the Stem Nola, New Orleans, Louisiana for four years. Her motto is to expose children to opportunities in the fields of Science and Technology. Previously, she worked as an Apprentice at Tennessee State University where she conducted various research for ongoing Food Bioscience and Technology.

Talking about her education, Jo graduated from the Xavier University of Louisiana in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry. She also participated in the Summer Health Professions Education Program which exposed her to careers in pharmacy, nursing, and medicine. She was also a member of the Chemistry Club, Homecoming and Spring Fest Committee Chair, and National Society of Leadership and Service.

The young lady assists a teacher at East Baton Rouge Parish School as a voluntary worker whenever she is in the town. She is also a community volunteer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America since 2020.
Besides, she did a project on Cultural preservation and indigenous social entrepreneurship associated with her university.
JoJo Rarely Misses Her Boyfriend’s Games
She has constantly shown her immense support for her partner Edwards and his games. She is always on the first row to watch her lover playing and is always the first person the player greets after the match.
JoJo was there when the Chiefs won the ‘Super Bowl LVII,’ being her boyfriend’s biggest supporter. Even when the running back got injured, she was the one who nursed him back to good.

Before JoJo, Clyde was in a relationship with college sweetheart, Desiree Jones. The natives of Baton Rouge met each other when they were attending Louisiana State University. At the time, Clyde played football while Jones was studying Child and Family Studies there. They started going out on September 9, 2013.
Their relationship lasted for a few years before calling it quits. Ever since their split, the former couple has deleted their pictures from their social media and neither of them is following each other.
