Max Scharping is an American footballer who plays as an offensive guard for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was selected by the Houston Texans in the 2019 NFL Draft. Scharping played college football at Northern Illinois whereas he played high school football at Green Bay Southwest High School.

Max was born to Paul and Jackie Scharping on August 10, 1996, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He has an older sister, Jenn Belden who is 30 years old as of 2024. Jenn is currently married to Jaime Belden II.

Max earned an undergraduate degree in kinesiology and earned his master’s degree in December 2018. Scharping mainly played as an offensive tackle in his college days while he also played as a guard occasionally.

The NFL star has been happily married to his wife Cassidy Scharping (nee Halloran) since May 2021. The duo got married in a small wedding in Mexico. The husband and wife have a child, son Brooks Ryan Scharping (born March 26, 2022). They are expecting their second child in early 2024.

Talking about his wife, Cassidy is the daughter of football coach Shawn Halloran and Nancy Halloran. She has three siblings, two sisters Dylan Halloran and Riley Halloran, and a brother Jack Halloran.
