The player chose the day of their anniversary to pop the question and asked Scottie to cancel all her plans to take her out for their anniversary.
He took her on a private shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue and asked her to pick out whatever she wanted, including an outfit for the fancy dinner at Ocean Prime, where they had their first date. Then he took her to the driveway and walked her through a big light tunnel, telling her all the things that he loved about her.

At the end of the walkway of candles was a gorgeous setup of blankets, pillows, and flowers. He got down on his knees and asked me to marry him. Of course, he had a photographer andvideographer on hand to capture the moment. It was one of the most romantic moments of my life.

The Couple Had a Perfect Destination Wedding
Both of them are equally romantic when it comes to making their special occasions memorable. As Tyler made his proposal perfect, Scottie planned on making their wedding perfect as well. So, she planned a classic all-white flower-themed and far from their home.
They decided to have their special day in Cabo San Lucas and hired a local planner to make their big day more special. Despite having a whole year, the duo started their planning process only four months before exchanging vows.
The lovebirds hosted their close ones for four days in Cabo. They said their vows on the third day, on April 12, 2023.
Just like the wedding, their dresses were dreamy too. Scottie wore a beautiful white dress with 3D flowers, pearls, and sparkles with a see-through corset back with a mesh bow. The groom didn’t hold back either. He donned a blue and green floral suit from Michigan clothier Cicchini.
As per Scottie, the NFL player got emotional even before seeing her, which made that moment extra special for her. Their mutual friend, Sean Koski, officiated the wedding, and after saying their “I dos,” the couple had a union shot, reflecting their personality, as they like to party.

Yes, that’s right. The husband and wife are a huge dog lover and are the parents of two Siberian Huskies, Laska and Luna. The tight end brought Laska as a puppy after being drafted for the NFL in 2018. After a year, when the couple started living together, they brought Luna to join their family of 3.

Scottie was born on November 1, 1997, to parents Scott (58) and Dana Falkenhagen (51). She was born and brought up in Algonac, Michigan. Growing up, she wasn’t the only kid in her family and shared her childhood with her 2 sisters, Shelby and Amanda, and a brother, Beau.
Her oldest sister, Shelby Falkenhagen, is a physician who married Michael Anthony on 11 November 2023.
