Barbara Renee Wolf is the life partner of famous sportscaster Kenny Albert. The pair have been happily married for over two decades now and raised a beautiful family together.
As the son and nephew of famous sportscasters, Barbara’s husband continued what was practically a family job in 1990. He’s unique in his field because he does play-by-play commentary for all four major pro sports leagues i.e. NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB in the US and Canada and is the only one in the profession to do so till today.

Barbara Renee Wolf is a New Jersey Native
Barbara was welcomed into this world as the child of Herbert Wolf and Maxine Wolf on June 6, 1969. She was brought up along with her siblings, Richard Wolf and Ellen Wolf Porwich.
The pretty woman’s dad is a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School and studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. He was also the owner of a vinyl-making company, EBR Manufacturing, located in Closter, New Jersey, and is currently a partner at Wolf Business Associates along with his wife.
Meanwhile, Barbara’s mom graduated from Farmingdale High School and later got her degree from Hofstra University. In the past, she owned the Moto Photo processing store in Fort Lee. She was also the owner and partner of Wolf Bookkeeping & Tax Service and Wolf Business Associates.
Sadly, Ellen passed away on May 13, 2021. Both Barbara and Kenny mourned her death and promised to keep her in their heart.
Kenny Albert’s Wife is an alumnus of Ithaca College
While Barbara grew up in New Jersey, she left home and moved to New York to attend college. The beautiful lady enrolled in Ithaca College, a private college in the South Hill area.
After completing her education, she entered the workforce at a lighting design and manufacturing enterprise, Robert Group in Wood Ridge, New Jersey as the account services coordinator. She was also the director of marketing in the same company.
However, she left the job a few days before her wedding.
Barbara Renee Wolf and Kenny Albert’s Love Story: The Beginning
Sports played a huge part in the couple’s meeting and the commencement of their romance. Their story started in 1994 when the Rangers lost in Game Five of the Rangers-Canucks Final series on NHL. Because of the loss, Kenny did not have to attend any after-party and instead went to meet his friend Jerry at Barbara’s apartment.

Having been introduced there, Kenny and Barbara went to a Knicks-Rockets game in the following days since he had an extra ticket. The commentator mentioned that for him, their first date was Game Three of the 1994 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets.
Meanwhile, Barbara didn’t see it that way, and the timing of their first date is different when you ask them. However, the soulmates eventually fell in love and moved forward in claiming the other as their partner for life.
Barbara Renee Wolf officially married the sports commentator after a 2-year romance
After dating each other for about two years, the lovebirds made the decision to officially tie the knot. On August 9, 1996, Barbara and Kenny invited their family and close ones and married each other. Jacob Yaron officiated the wedding, which was held at Livingston Country Club.
Now, the two have spent almost thirty years in each other’s companionship and have built a little family for themselves. However, the sportscaster is mostly busy with his hectic job, and sometimes, his significant other does not even know where he is working.
In the process, Barbara ensures that her better half takes care of himself, especially taking remedies for his throat. Furthermore, because their names sound similar, Kenny often hilariously refers to his wife and himself as ‘Barbie and Ken.’
She shares two beautiful daughters with Kenny Albert
While enjoying their conjugal life together, the couple has also raised two beautiful daughters. They had their first child, Amanda, on October 4, 1999. Their younger daughter, Sydney, was born on January 27, 2003.
Their eldest got her high school diploma from North Valley Regional High School in Demarest. She graduated from S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, getting a degree in broadcast and digital journalism. Amanda is also an NFT blockchain content editor for the NHL.
In the past, she had a brief stint as a producer at NBC Sports for the Beijing Olympics.
Meanwhile, their youngest graduated from the same high school as her older sister and is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The smallest Albert has also been working as the marketing director and outreach coordinator at Wisconsin Microfinance.
Barbara currently lives in New Jersey with her spouse.
