Carole Lintzenich’s Son Joe Buck Is a Famed Broadcaster
Following in his late father’s footsteps, Joe has now also made quite a name for himself in the field of broadcasting. The Indiana University Bloomington graduate extensively worked for Fox Sports from 1994 to 2022. He held several prestigious roles during his tenure with the network including the lead play-by-play announcer for its NFL and MLB coverage. He also served as a television play-by-play announcer for the World Series.
At present, Buck works for ESPN and is now the lead play-by-play announcer for Monday Night Football.

In August 2009, Lintzenich found a narrow escape from her burning home near St. Louis.
She woke up by a fire alarm in her upscale Ladue home and got out safely as the first fire trucks arrived. Her son Buck said at the time,
“She woke up and by the time she was getting out of the house, she saw the flashing lights outside and it was illuminating smoke that was already inside the house.”
Carole didn’t need any medical examination. It took over a couple of hours to control the fire.
