Tress Way is an American football punter for the Washington Commanders. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2013, however, he never played for the Bears. Tress was born, Tressler William Way on April 18, 1990, to parents Leo Way and Debra Way.
Tress’ father, Leo passed away at the age of 62. He has a brother, Cole Way who is a lawyer by profession. Cole graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts.
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Way attended Union High School before joining the University of Oklahoma. He played as a kicker for some time in his college days, however, he switched to punter after an unsuccessful stint.
Way is a married man. He married Brianna Turang on July 5, 2014. Although many websites have mentioned the Ways have been married since 2013, we can confirm they tied the knot in July 2014. The NFL star himself revealed their wedding date in an Instagram post exactly a month after their wedding.
Tress and his spouse Brianna have a son together named Beau Way.
Brianna is the daughter of former Major League Baseball outfielder Brian Turang. She played softball and soccer at the University of Oklahoma.
