The lovebirds finally tied the knot on March 21, 2001.
The athlete started playing in the league the same year he got married. From supporting him at college matches to cheering him during his games, Oakley has been through it all.

After being married for almost ten years, the duo became parents of a son and daughter. They gave birth to their eldest, Daylen Oliver Tomlinson, on July 7, 2010. They chose the name Daylen because of its uniqueness, only to later find out it actually meant “little Mountain.” The parents knew it was the right choice.
A year later, after having a baby boy, the pair welcomed a baby girl, Dayah Lynn Tomlinson, on September 10, 2011.
Nine months after she was born, her dad retired from the league. LaDainian left the game for the children he loves. He shared, “I always said I wanted to be the father that was there for his kids.”

LaTorsha And LaDainian Lost Their First Born
Sadly, the young mother carried their daughter, Mckiah Renee, for six months before she had a miscarriage in 2005. Torsha was diagnosed with Sjogren Syndrome, an illness that cuts off blood to the fetus. The pair felt disheartened when they lost the baby. They kept her ashes in their family house urn and her belongingness in their son’s nursery.
Well, LaDainian grieved in private because he felt like he needed to be strong in front of his wife. Four years later, when they found out about their second pregnancy, they took extra care. When they became father and mother again to a son and daughter, they told them the story of the late Mckiah to let them know they had a sister.
