McNair tied the knot for the first time in the ’90s. Sadly his marriage ended with a divorce in 2002. The sports executive hasn’t revealed the identity of his former wife nor the reason for their separation. As far as we know, it was due to irreconcilable differences.
After parting ways with his then-partner, he met Hannah Hartland. They got married in 2009. The lovebirds had an intimate wedding surrounded by their loved ones and ever since then, they have been inseparable. The couple has been doing everything with love, from working to raising their kids together.
McNair Saw His Current Wife, Hannah In A Soccer Match
Six years after he separated from his first wife, Cal saw Hannah during a soccer match between the US and Mexico at Reliant Stadium. Cal was mesmerized by the beautiful brunette and wanted to meet her. Back then, she used to work with one of his friends at a wealth management firm, Salient Partners.
Cal then visited her office on Valentine’s Day. Interestingly, Hartland had tried to reach him for work for two years but he wouldn’t return her calls. Hannah recalled the moment of their first conversation which happened like this: when she received messages that Cal wanted her to call him, she thought it was a professional one so she put her phone on speaker. Instead, he asked her out. She was embarrassed when he invited her to dinner in front of her colleagues.
The duo began dating, and despite their age gap, Hannan gave him time to build a connection which happened sooner than later. It didn’t take a long time for the then-newly mingled couple to decide they were the ones for each other.
Cal And Hannah McNair Are Parents Of Four Kids
The married couple is raising four children together. They first became parents with the birth of their eldest, Robert McNair. A year later, they gave birth to their second child, Calhoun Jr.McNair. The pair then welcomed their youngest son, Michael McNair. Their daughter, Hunter Grace is the youngest in the family.
The kids are in their teenage years learning new skills in school. The parents are keeping their lives away from the prying eyes so not much is known about them.
Besides, he also has three daughters, Devon, Raelyn, and Vivian from his first marriage.
They Lost Their Infant Child In 2018
In October 2018, Cal and his wife gave birth to a boy, Jackson. Their happiness soon turned into grief when they lost their baby shortly after birth. Hannah found a support group at Bo’s Place which helped her mourn. She sat with five other mothers who also lost their children. They shared their story and cried together. She said it helped her to move on slowly.
The McNairs Believe In Giving Back
Both of them come from a family who believe in giving back to society. With this aim, they are working at the Houston Texans Foundation to empower the next generation with education, character development, and health. Besides, they have supported a wide variety of charities.
The pair became a part of the March of Dimes to prevent premature birth and the dangerous health of newborns. When they lost their own child, they started getting more involved with this charity and raising funds. They hosted a benefit for the foundation’s 80th anniversary at a restaurant and raised $450,000.
Cal’s Life Partner, Hannah McNair Is Also His Business Partner
As we mentioned before, Cal is the chairperson for the Houston Texans of the NFL. With this position, he has many responsibilities that he can’t fulfill alone. He takes help from his wife, Hannah. In fact, he welcomes her growing influence in the organization’s decision-making process. He appreciates her suggestion and trusts that it is for the better. Hannah once talked about this saying,
My only thing is to support him and speak the truth to him. I can tell him something point blank, whether it’s hard to hear or whatever it is, and I have no agenda except what’s best for him.
Besides this, she is also the head of the Houston Texans Foundation and serves as an executive committee for Lady Texans, Texans Children’s Hospital Leadership Council, Ladies for Literacy Guild, and Celebration of Reading committee. Cal McNair’s Wife, Hannah’s Early Life
Hartland grew up in Houston with ten sisters and three brothers. As a matter of fact, she has a twin sister, Joanna Hartland Marks, with whom she shares a strong bond. She hasn’t revealed much about her parents but it looks like she was raised in a big loving family.
Talking about her education, she attended a local high school. She then joined the University of Houston for a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree.
